Bodyweight Exercises

If you're looking for specific bodyweight exercises, we can help. We offer a variety of different exercises that can be done with no equipment, and we provide detailed instructions on how to perform each one.

We know that when most of us first started we didn't know what an archer pull-up was and that there were so many types of pull ups.

So what we try to do is breakdown the types of bodyweight exercises and give you examples that you can follow to ensure that you are holding good form through the bodyweight movement.

Bodyweight Equipment

When it comes to bodyweight equipment, what do you need, what must you have what do we wish we had known about and what are the nice to have.

There are a variety of Bodyweight equipment options to choose from. Whether you're looking for something to help you with your bodyweight training, or you're just starting out and need some basic equipment, we have something for you.

We offer our opinions on a variety of different bodyweight equipment options, including: Dips Machines, Pull up bars, Gymnastics Rings, Resistance bands, Weighted vests, Battle Ropes, Climbing Ropes, Paralettes, Ab Wheels

While there is a lot of equipment that can help with your bodyweight training, it's not necessary to have all of it. Check out our article on Home Gym Setup or this one which gives our top 20 must have pieces of Callisthenics Equipment (Take special note of the gloves!).

Can I just say now that gloves or grips must be one of the first things that I now wish that I had bought. One thing about doing hanging/pulling/pushing bodyweight exercises is that you WILL get calluses. So invest in some good grips and use them.
